Greetings and Welcome to "Leadership is a Philosophy not a Checklist".
If this is your first time here, I humbly ask that you watch the video series (Prologue and Chapters 1-7) first in order to establish a baseline of thinking. The main focus of this community is to change our perspective on leadership and call attention to what we instinctively know but have not articulated. Once you have done that you will better understand the themes covered in the other content posted here.
Thank you very much for your time.
Hello all - In this video I analyze the leadership abilities demonstrated by a few of the characters from the 1970's TV series MASH. I hope you enjoy.
In this video I discuss an interview with Conductor Marin Alsop. I play some clips from two interviews and apply the concepts discussed on this channel to see if she is a "natural leader". I hope you find this discussion interesting.
In this video I discuss (videos) and the book "The Ignorant Maestro" by Itay Talgam. Itay is a conductor and leadership consultant whose focus is on how conductors of orchestras are like leaders of organizations. You can see the YouTube videos of a couple of his TED talks here. I really enjoy his presentations and the insight of his book.
Hello All - In this video I discuss the poor leadership lessons demonstrated in the movie "Office Space" and the TV series "The Office".
